Elisa and Billy’s Union Trust Wedding was remarkable. It was a chilly February Saturday, but the day was filled with nothing short of the warm atmosphere, lots of laughter, loving glances, and endless dancing. Elisa and Billy had a stellar timeline that allowed plenty of time for portraits and ensured the day was as enjoyable and breezy as possible.
Wedding preparations at Kimpton Hotel Monaco
The bride and groom were getting ready at one of my favorite Old City hotels – Hotel Monaco. There are so many reasons to love this hotel for wedding getting ready photos. It had a lot of tall windows and has some of the most spectacular views of Independence Square and Liberty Bell. The interior of the hotel is exquisite and always looks amazing in photos.
First Look and Portrait in the Old City
Elisa and Billy braved the cold weather in a remarkable way. After their first look at Thomas Jefferson’s Gardens, we headed to the 18th Century Gardens and the First National Bank for portraits. Even though we had to work very efficiently in such low temperatures, we couldn’t ask for a more cooperative and engaging bridal party who were willing to do whatever it takes to get beautiful photos.
Union Trust Ceremony & Reception
The ceremony and reception views at Union Trust weddings never disappoint. Elisa and Billy’s day was not an exception. The Carl Alan team did a phenomenal job with floral arrangements and ceremony backdrop draping. The Carnival Band from BVT Live ensured the dance floor was one big never-ending party. And we had the most amazing time documenting all of the special moments of this magical day.
