PHILLY’S BEST WEDDING & ENGAGEMENT PHOTO LOCATIONS

Weddings

One of the most frequently asked questions that I get as a Philly wedding photographer is, ‘What are the best locations for wedding and engagement photos in Philadelphia?”

So here we go – my list of the best locations for your wedding and engagement photos in Philly!

Rodin Museum

Rodin Museum is an exquisite spot for wedding and engagement photos in Philadelphia. Its European architecture oozes Parisian romance – a beautiful setting to capture cherished memories. The pool’s center-stage placement within the flower beds creates reflections that will add artistic flair to your portraits, while its textured backgrounds give you plenty of options when it comes to creating stunning imagery full of greenery – perfect if a light and soft feel with lush surroundings is what captures your vision. From architectural structures to columns or gates, there are many backdrops to choose from.

With this Philadelphia treasure along the Ben Franklin Parkway, your wedding or engagement photos will be one of a kind.  There are plenty of opportunities to get creative here – from sweeping long walkways that make perfect spots for first looks to unique angles and backgrounds around every corner. This location won’t disappoint.

Philadelphia Museum of Art

With its stunning skyline views, Philadelphia Museum Of Art has become a popular destination for couples wishing to capture special life moments such as engagements and weddings. From high atop The Rocky Steps you can marvel at the city’s skyline views – rows upon rows of trees lead your eyes down Ben Franklin Parkway all the way to glorious Philadelphia City Hall. It truly is an awe-inspiring sight that will take your breath away.

Fall is a particularly exceptional time of year at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, when tree lines create magnificent panoramic views. There are also many hidden gems around the museum – side sets of stairs providing more privacy and fewer crowds as your backdrop. You can wander for hours yet never experience all that this beautiful space has to offer- making it perfect for capturing those special moments.

Of my favorite angles at the 18th-century Gardens is the view of the Carpenter’s Hall through the forge gates and the red brick walkway, which works so well for wedding first looks!
