The weddings that take place around Christmas time in Philadelphia always feel extra special. Whether it is the magical atmosphere of approaching holidays brought by the Christmas lights all around the city, crowded holiday markets, or the romance of peak engagement season throughout the year, all of that brings a special tone to the event.
Danielle and Eric’s wedding was a fabulous one. Both incredibly kind-hearted, sweet and welcoming people, they planned a day that was a perfect representation of who they are as a couple. Genuine, full of joy, sincere and fun!
Wedding Preparations at Philadelphia Renaissance Hotel
Danielle was getting ready at the gorgeous penthouse at the Renaissance Hotel. And I couldn’t ask for a more perfect bridal suite. Plenty of room, stunning skylight window, cathedral ceiling, tons of natural light!
Wedding Ceremony at St John the Evangelist Church
The wedding ceremony took place at the beautiful St John the Evangelist Church in center city Philadelphia. It was truly a remarkable part of Danielle and Eric’s special day. The moment they saw each other for the first time walking down the aisle, all the loving glimpses the couple was exchanging throughout the ceremony, heartfelt wedding vows. Everything was filled with that beautiful thing called love.
Broad Street Nighttime Wedding Photos
The tricky part about winter weddings in Philadelphia is that you quickly run out of daylight by the time the ceremony ends. However, Danielle and Eric were a hundred percent on board about having a nighttime look for their portraits. We started off at the South Broad Street to get the Philly iconic wedding photo in front of the City Hal. And we were lucky to get the last seconds of the breathtaking purple sky in the background! Next, we stopped by the Jeweler’s row for a few quick portraits in front of beautiful Christmas decorations and headed to our final photo location – 1st National Bank in the Ond City.
Wedding Reception at Ballroom at The Ben
The Ballroom at the Ben looked spectacular that night! Fabufloras Designs team did a phenomenal job with the reception floral decor and candlelit tables.
