Cathedral Basilica Philadelphia Wedding

Weddings at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul in Philadelphia are always a treat to photograph. Its majestic architecture is a true masterpiece that takes your breath away. It is especially delightful when you get to photograph a stunning couple at this dazzling ceremony venue. When Aida and Nick contacted me regarding documenting their wedding at Cathedral Basilica, I didn’t hesitate a second.

Wedding Preparations at Logan

Both bride and groom were getting ready at the Logan Hotel, which is only a two-minute walk from the Cathedral Basilica. Aida and Nick were not seeing each other before the ceremony. The close proximity of the hotel to the church made the logistics of the wedding very convenient.

The moment Aida was walking down the aisle was the highlight of the wedding ceremony for everyone. It was truly a gorgeous moment to capture and witness. Nick could hardly hold back tears but couldn’t look any happier when seeing his gorgeous bride.

Wedding Party Photos At Philadelphia City Hall

The initial plan for the wedding party photos was the Logan Square. But we had to pivot last-minute due to a completely unexpected torrential downpour. City Hall was our plan-B wedding photo location as it offers a lot of covered area while still having a lot of natural light. It was a perfect fit for both bridal party photos as well as some dramatic portraits of the couple.

Wedding Reception At Vue On 50

After the formal portraits at the City Hall, it was time to head to the beautiful Vue On 50 for the wedding reception. Needless to say that nothing can compare to the spectacular view of Philadelphia that this wedding venue has to offer. Aida and Nick planned the most unforgettable and entertaining night for their guests. It was an honor and joy to document the story of this delightful couple and be a part of their day.
