Elfreth’s Alley is a fascinating historical spot in the Old City, Philadelphia. Its story goes back all the way to the 18th Century and it is the nation’s oldest continuously inhabited residential street. No surprise that such a special location in the city has become an iconic spot for engagement proposals. It is also an extremely popular place for engagement sessions.
As a photographer, I find Elfreth’s Alley a remarkable location for engagement sessions. If you are planning your engagement session in Philly and looking for a place with a profound historical feel, cobblestone streets, and red brick buildings, Elfreth’s alley is a marvelous option.
This engagement session with Melissa and Bill was delightful! We started off at Elfreth’s alley with some more casual-looking outfits. Afterward, we head to the 18th Century Gardens and Merchants Exchange for a more formal look. The lighting was fabulous that day and I couldn’t express how we enjoyed photographing this stunning couple!
