Allie and Cory’s Water Works wedding was a perfect start to our 2021 wedding season. We first met this amazing couple at their engagement session at Valley Forge and we were hooked! Their fun and genuine personalities as well as an impeccable sense of style are remarkable. When the time was coming up for their Big Day, our excitement was through the roof!
Wedding Preparations at the Logan Hotel
Allie and Cory both had beautiful spacious suites at the Logan with a lot of natural light. The couple created a phenomenal timeline that allotted a lot of time for photos and ensured a smooth and relaxed morning, as well as the rest of the day.
First Look at the Art Museum
The bride and groom chose the Art Museum area as their primary location for their first look and bridal party photos. The goal was to capture the city skyline as well as have some greenery as a backdrop for photos while being in close proximity to the Water Works. The Art Museum provided just that. It was a glorious day and we were lucky to get some gorgeous light!
Wedding Ceremony & Reception at Water Works
Weddings at Water Works are always spectacular. This iconic Philadelphia waterfront wedding venue features some breathtaking sunset views and the remarkable backdrop of the boathouse row.
The wedding ceremony took place outdoors with the Water Works popular cliff as a background. It was fabulous! Once the cocktail hour was over, it was time to get the party started. And to say that Allie and Cory and their remarkable group of friends know how to party would be an understatement. The dance floor was never empty, accompanied by some out-of-the-world sax performance by Rhymix Entertainment.
We ended the night with a spectacular sparkler send of a few nighttime portraits with the lit boathouse row in the background. Allie and Cory, we could capture your day again and again and would never get tired of photographing you two. Thank you for giving us this delightful opportunity to capture your story!
