The day began at The Logan Hotel, where Nicole and Will prepared separately with their closest family and friends.
Morning light poured through the windows as final touches came together. There was laughter, quiet conversations, and the kind of anticipation that fills the hours before a wedding ceremony. No one seemed focused on the clock. Instead, everyone was focused on each other.

Rather than waiting until the ceremony, Nicole and Will chose to share a private first look on the grounds of Fairmount Water Works.
Just beyond the gazebo, with the Schuylkill River stretching quietly behind them, they saw each other for the first time on their wedding day.
The moment didn’t need elaborate direction. It unfolded naturally—quiet smiles, happy tears, and a chance to slow down together before the celebration began.
One of the reasons I love photographing first looks at Fairmount Water Works is how naturally the surroundings encourage couples to slow down. The river, mature trees, and historic stone architecture create a peaceful setting that never feels disconnected from the city, yet somehow offers a quiet pause before the celebration begins.

As guests gathered beneath the pavilion, afternoon light filled the ceremony space overlooking the Schuylkill River.

When Nicole walked down the aisle, all eyes turned toward her.
