Hien and Duy’s Switch House wedding was a beautiful balance of both.

From a quiet morning in the bridal suite to a packed dance floor at the end of the night, the entire day unfolded with a sense of ease that allowed every meaningful moment to take center stage.
A Calm Morning at Switch House
One of the things I appreciate most about weddings at Switch House is how beautifully the venue accommodates the entire day.
The morning began in the venue’s spacious bridal suite, where Hien and Duy spent the hours before the first look surrounded by her closest family and friends. Large windows filled the room with soft natural light while everyone settled into the rhythm of the day.
A First Look at Switch House
Before heading into the city for portraits, Hien and Duy shared a private first look inside Switch House.
Standing beside the grand staircase, with natural light pouring through the nearby window, they saw each other for the first time.
The location itself is beautifully understated. Clean architectural lines, soft light, and thoughtful design allow the emotion of the moment to remain the focus. There was no need for elaborate direction—just a quiet exchange, a few happy tears, and the excitement of finally experiencing the day together.
Portraits Across Philadelphia
After Hien and Duy’s first look, we headed into Philadelphia for portraits at two of the city’s most iconic locations.
At Merchants’ Exchange, the marble columns and graceful architecture created timeless portraits that echoed the couple’s classic style. Just a short drive away, the Rodin Museum offered a completely different atmosphere, where formal gardens, stone architecture, and quiet pathways provided a softer, more intimate backdrop.
Moving between these two locations created a gallery that felt varied while remaining cohesive—a wonderful combination of historic Philadelphia and refined elegance.
A Candlelit Ceremony and Reception
Back at Switch House, guests gathered for a ceremony that felt warm, intimate, and deeply personal. As the ceremony gave way to cocktail hour and dinner, the atmosphere shifted naturally into celebration.
Heartfelt toasts brought laughter and a few tears before the dance floor quickly filled with family and friends eager to celebrate the newlyweds. The energy never felt forced. It simply grew throughout the evening as one meaningful moment led naturally into the next.
